Usable Offhand Firework Mod — put rockets in your offhand, jump, pop the Elytra, and tap use to boost without ever touching your hotbar. It feels exactly like you expect if you’ve flown on Java: clean mid-air bursts on demand while your main hand stays ready for whatever the moment needs. In MC Bedrock that’s a massive rhythm fix—no more swapping to rockets, boosting, then fumbling back to a sword or tool while you’re losing altitude.
In survival, the difference shows up on the first long trip. I launched from a hill, kept a map in my main hand, and chained boosts across rivers and roofed forest canopies without opening my inventory once. End city runs are safer too: sword in main hand, rockets offhand, glide between ships, tag shulkers, and bail upward the instant a hit knocks you off a ledge. During raid nights, you can orbit the village with a bow or crossbow ready while still having instant thrust to re-position over rooftops.
Practical tips: craft plain rockets (paper + gunpowder) for clean, predictable boosts; save your fancy star rockets for celebrations or crossbows. Keep rockets in a small stack so you can track consumption, and stash refills on the hotbar for quick offhand swaps between legs of a flight. You’ll still need headroom—don’t try to thread tight caves—and the usual Elytra habits apply: launch from height, tap boosts in rhythm, and avoid panic-spamming near the ground.
On Realms and co-op worlds, this mod is a travel cheat code in the best way: scouts can hold maps, builders can keep blocks ready for sky bridges, and fighters can stay on their weapon mid-air.
